What's Official: RRB JE Exam City Details 2026
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are set to release the RRB JE Exam City Intimation Slip 2026 for candidates appearing in the Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) recruitment examination under CEN 04/2026. This slip is a crucial pre-exam document designed to inform aspirants of their allotted examination city, enabling them to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance. While the official activation of the download link is still awaited, candidates must remain vigilant and regularly check the official RRB websites for the latest updates.
It is important to understand that the city intimation slip is distinct from the admit card. The admit card, which grants entry into the examination hall, is typically released much closer to the actual examination date. As per the revised schedule reported for CEN 04/2026, the RRB JE CBT 1 examination is provisionally scheduled for October 27 and 28, 2026. Aspirants are advised to confirm these dates through the official RRB notification before finalizing any travel plans. The recruitment drive covers various vital posts within the Indian Railways, making this a significant opportunity for engineering and technical graduates. The examination mode will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT 1).
