The provisional merit list contains vital information that outlines your standing for MBBS and BDS admissions in Rajasthan. Upon opening the document, you will find several key data points essential for understanding your position:

: This indicates your overall rank within Rajasthan for the Stray Vacancy Round, a primary factor in seat allocation.

: Your unique NEET UG roll number is listed for identification.

: Your declared category (e.g., General, OBC, SC, ST) is mentioned, which is crucial for category-wise seat reservations.

: Your percentile score from the NEET UG exam is also included, reflecting your performance relative to other candidates.

Each of these elements plays a pivotal role in the forthcoming seat allotment process. Candidates must carefully review all details to confirm their accuracy against their application. Any discrepancies should be addressed immediately with the admission authorities, though such issues are rare at this stage.

The release of the provisional merit list transitions candidates into the next, highly critical phases of the admission process. Your actions following this publication will determine your path to securing a medical or dental seat. Pay close attention to these mandatory steps:

: The next immediate step for listed candidates will be the choice filling process, once the schedule is released. You must meticulously research and select your preferred colleges and courses. Strategic choice filling is paramount in this final round, considering seat availability, your merit rank, and previous year's cutoffs. To ensure you make the most informed choices during this crucial phase, utilize Aspirant Arcade's extensive college database and previous year's counselling insights to refine your preferences strategically.

: Following choice filling, the admission board will process seat allotments. This is determined by a complex interplay of factors: your state merit rank, your declared category, the availability of seats in your chosen institutions, your submitted preferences, and the specific counselling rules applicable to the Stray Vacancy Round.

: If a seat is allotted, you will be required to download your official allotment letter from the portal. This letter is your gateway to admission. Subsequently, you must complete the document verification process by presenting all original academic certificates, identity proof, domicile certificates, and other required documents. Following successful verification, you must pay the prescribed admission fees within the stipulated deadline and physically report to your allotted college. Failure to adhere to any of these steps or deadlines will result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.

While the provisional merit list is out, candidates must understand that specific dates for the subsequent counselling stages — namely choice filling, reporting to colleges, and fee payment deadlines — are yet to be announced. The Office of the Chairman, NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Board, Rajasthan, will publish these schedules on the official website.
